They’ve turned this modern Italian favorite but made it all their own adding goat cheese, mushrooms, and pinon nuts with diced tomatoes and garlic and on a toasted crostini. If you plan to make a full meal out of your night out, definitely start off with the Bruschetta. My personal favorites are Proscutto & Parm, Light ‘n Crispy, and the North Beach Pie - Fennel Salami, pepperoncinis, smoked mozzerella topped with diced tomatoes. I’m definitely a picky eater, but if I can move past my standard plan ‘ol pepperoni, so can you! If you’re nice, they will allow you to customize their pies by removing or adding toppings however, I highly recommend you trust the chef and order as is. Over the past 10 years, Fireside Pies has since grown into 4 locations across Dallas, Plano, and Grapevine but are still serving the same delicious wood-fired, artisan pies. With the first bite of my Triple ‘Roni, I was in pizza heaven! Pizza was no longer for “take out” but a meal to be savored and enjoyed with a glass of wine. At the time, it was revolutionizing the way Dallas knew pizza and from the moment you entered the building you knew why. It was almost 8 years ago that I discovered Fireside Pies on Henderson Avenue.
